The Journey of Unbecoming™
Discovering a version of yourself you never knew existed™

Unbecoming™ is about release, surrender and radical acceptance.
It’s about embracing your truth with clarity and a deep awareness of who you are. It means trusting the unseen, unrecognized parts of yourself and stepping into a space of pure freedom.

It’s daring to challenge the persona you’ve created over a lifetime, the roles that no longer serve you. To have the courage to embrace your uniqueness. It is choosing to live in a way that makes sense to you without worrying if it aligns with societal expectations.

If your path resonates with you, that’s what truly matters, even if it feels like you’re moving against the current of the whole world.

Unbecoming™ means rejecting conformity and going deep within to uncover the layers of your being. It’s an ongoing excavation until you become as unshakable and resilient as a mountain, steadfast and unwavering no matter the storms you face.

It’s shining a light on your limiting beliefs, assumptions, interpretations, inner fears, critical voices, self-doubt and patterns of self-sabotage. It’s about taming those thoughts and expanding your perception from black and white thinking to a mindset that embraces all the colors of the rainbow. This means approaching people and situations with curiosity rather than judgment and being open to different perspectives.

Unbecoming™ invites you to stop fearing change and instead accept it as life’s only constant. It’s about finding peace in uncertainty and appreciating the present moment; about discovering the stillness and the beauty of silence.

It’s having faith that brighter days are ahead and tapping into your inner strength; that type of strength that can move mountains.

It’s aligning your mind, body and spirit in a way that feels right for you and only you.

It’s shifting from overthinking to feeling, from “I think” to “I feel” and fully connecting with your emotions; changing from ‘’I should’’ and ‘’I must’’ to ‘’I want’’ and ‘’I desire.’’

Unbecoming™ encourages you to welcome every emotion without judgment, from fear and anger to grief and anxiety. It’s about learning to surrender and let go when things become overwhelming. Sometimes, that means allowing yourself to cry, whether for five minutes or several days and honoring the process that helps you heal and move forward.

It’s accepting that you don’t have to do it all alone. It is truly giving yourself permission to ask for support and surrounding yourself with people who understand your pain, even when words aren’t needed.

Unbecoming™ means nurturing a space, inside and outside, where you feel safe, loved, heard, seen and understood.

The version of you that emerges through Unbecoming™ is confident, passionate and full of life. It’s a self that loves unconditionally, guided by a deep faith in something greater.

It’s a version of you that has the patience and resilience to ride life’s waves, appreciating that life is a gift and choosing gratitude every day.

  • It’s a knowing that you are meant for extraordinary things.
  • No matter what happens, you keep the flame of hope alive.
  • It’s meeting a version of yourself that you protect, love and honor, unconditionally.

Unbecoming™ is about finding the way back to your heart, connecting to the pride you feel in who you are; connecting to that gorgeous, beautiful, confident, passionate, magnificently successful person who you never knew existed. That person who is not only capable to conquering the world but is already doing so.

About ~

Valina is a Transformational Coach and Hypnotherapist, (RRT®) dedicated to helping ambitious women create the balanced and fulfilling life they’ve always dreamed of. Her journey to becoming a coach began during her own successful career as an HR manager. Driven by perfectionism and an insatiable hunger for achievement, she poured herself into her work, allowing it to define her identity and self-worth.

Despite her career successes, Valina struggled with an underlying sense of inadequacy, relentless exhaustion, and the inability to truly switch off, even during holidays. The fast-paced lifestyle that once fuelled her ambition ultimately took a toll on her well-being. Reaching a breaking point, she turned to coaching for guidance and clarity. Through this transformative process, Valina reconnected with her true values and uncovered a deeper sense of fulfilment, which inspired her to become a certified coach herself.

However, her personal transformation didn’t stop there. After being diagnosed with remitting relapsing multiple sclerosis (RRMS), Valina's body gave her a wake-up call, forcing her to slow down and reconsider her priorities. What initially felt like a setback became a turning point, empowering her to embrace healing on a deeper level. This led her to explore hypnotherapy, where she gained insight into the emotional roots of physical ailments, and she became certified in Rapid Transformational Therapy to help herself and others heal.

Now, Valina combines her coaching expertise with hypnotherapy to help women release deep-seated emotional blocks and reprogram old beliefs. Her mission is to help clients reconnect with their inner strength, build unshakable confidence, and lead lives of purpose and joy. With a unique blend of empathy, experience, and actionable guidance, Valina provides her clients with the tools to live authentically, feel empowered, and thrive in all areas of life.

Beyond her professional life, Valina enjoys simple pleasures that help her stay grounded. Whether it’s listening to music, baking something sweet, savoring a good cup of coffee, or meditating, she finds joy in activities that nourish both her body and soul. She loves Pilates, taking long walks in nature, and watching romantic movies that warm the heart. Cloud gazing, reading a great book, and spending quality time with family and friends also play a big role in her self-care and happiness.

Valina holds a BSc in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and an MA in Human Resource Management, specializing in Talent Management, from Middlesex University of London. She is also a Certified Professional Coach, an Energy Leadership Master Practitioner with iPEC, and a Certified Hypnotherapist with The School of Rapid Transformational Therapy®.

Testimonials

  • "First of all, thank you - really thank you for doing what you're doing in the world, and your longevity - the fourteen years with you and Benny - and I know even prior to that of what you're doing in the world."
    Linda Star Wolf

  • "Please tell Dr. Pat I said thank you for having me on her radio program today, how gracious she was, and what great questions she asked--there were a couple I had never been asked before and I had to think about!   I really appreciated the opportunity to share Katherine's story and share in her mission to bring hope to the Lyme community."
    Eliza Hemenway - guest

  • "Being on the Dr. Pat show is always a pleasure! Kind of like a free ride on Mr. Toad's wild ride! As a guest, I always feel well considered and Dr. Pat brings out the best of me as well as my books. I highly recommend this show as cutting edge, open to new and different ideas and a whole lot of fun."
    Meg Blackburn Losey, Ph.D

  • "Excellent question Pat! Not one that I get asked very often so thanks for asking. What have my a-ha moments been? There have been so many. I mean I am a totally different person than I was when I started studying this 10 years ago. My first a-ha moment was the a-ha that someone needs to study this. If we're trying to win the war on cancer why are we ignoring the people who've won? We should be talking to them. We should be studying them. So that was the first coin that dropped for me was just something like do this, study this, don't be afraid. It didn't scare me. It actually excited me. My dear friend died when we were 16 of stomach cancer so to be across from someone like him was told they were going to die and yet 25 years later that does not scare me. That gives me incredible hope and for a potential cure for cancer down the road."
    Dr. Kelly Turner

  • "Thank you Dr. Pat. I am just so excited about your future and how you’re exploding. So, more people need Dr. Pat!"
