The Journey of Unbecoming ™ with Valina Stavropoulu: Discovering a version of yourself you never knew existed™

Every 3rd Thursday  9am PT / 12pm ET

Unbecoming™ is about release, surrender and radical acceptance.
It’s about embracing your truth with clarity and a deep awareness of who you are. It means trusting the unseen, unrecognized parts of yourself and stepping into a space of pure freedom.

It’s daring to challenge the persona you’ve created over a lifetime, the roles that no longer serve you. To have the courage to embrace your uniqueness. It is choosing to live in a way that makes sense to you without worrying if it aligns with societal expectations.

If your path resonates with you, that’s what truly matters, even if it feels like you’re moving against the current of the whole world.

Unbecoming™ means rejecting conformity and going deep within to uncover the layers of your being. It’s an ongoing excavation until you become as unshakable and resilient as a mountain, steadfast and unwavering no matter the storms you face.

It’s shining a light on your limiting beliefs, assumptions, interpretations, inner fears, critical voices, self-doubt and patterns of self-sabotage. It’s about taming those thoughts and expanding your perception from black and white thinking to a mindset that embraces all the colors of the rainbow. This means approaching people and situations with curiosity rather than judgment and being open to different perspectives.

Unbecoming™ invites you to stop fearing change and instead accept it as life’s only constant. It’s about finding peace in uncertainty and appreciating the present moment; about discovering the stillness and the beauty of silence.

It’s having faith that brighter days are ahead and tapping into your inner strength; that type of strength that can move mountains.

It’s aligning your mind, body and spirit in a way that feels right for you and only you.

It’s shifting from overthinking to feeling, from “I think” to “I feel” and fully connecting with your emotions; changing from ‘’I should’’ and ‘’I must’’ to ‘’I want’’ and ‘’I desire.’’

Unbecoming™ encourages you to welcome every emotion without judgment, from fear and anger to grief and anxiety. It’s about learning to surrender and let go when things become overwhelming. Sometimes, that means allowing yourself to cry, whether for five minutes or several days and honoring the process that helps you heal and move forward.

It’s accepting that you don’t have to do it all alone. It is truly giving yourself permission to ask for support and surrounding yourself with people who understand your pain, even when words aren’t needed.

Unbecoming™ means nurturing a space, inside and outside, where you feel safe, loved, heard, seen and understood.

The version of you that emerges through Unbecoming™ is confident, passionate and full of life. It’s a self that loves unconditionally, guided by a deep faith in something greater.

It’s a version of you that has the patience and resilience to ride life’s waves, appreciating that life is a gift and choosing gratitude every day.

  • It’s a knowing that you are meant for extraordinary things.
  • No matter what happens, you keep the flame of hope alive.
  • It’s meeting a version of yourself that you protect, love and honor, unconditionally.

Unbecoming™ is about finding the way back to your heart, connecting to the pride you feel in who you are; connecting to that gorgeous, beautiful, confident, passionate, magnificently successful person who you never knew existed. That person who is not only capable to conquering the world but is already doing so.

What does Unbecoming™ mean for the mind, whole mindset, body, spirit and emotions?
Unbecoming™ is about a holistic transformation that touches every aspect of our being: the mind, body, spirit and emotions.

For the mind: it involves letting go of limiting beliefs and mental conditioning that keep you stuck in self-doubt, overthinking or the need to seek external approval and people-please. It’s a journey of unlearning negative thought patterns and embracing a mindset rooted in self-compassion, curiosity and confidence.

For the whole mindset: it represents a fundamental shift from fear-based, scarcity thinking to one that values abundance, authenticity and self-empowerment. It encourages you to release the need to conform and instead trust in your own values and intuition.

For the body: it invites a reconnection with your body through self-care, honoring your body’s needs and cultivating practices that bring vitality and well-being. It’s about letting go of habits that disconnect you from physical health and choosing nourishment from a place of respect and love; either that means maintaining a healthy diet, exercising, trying holistic treatments, starting a hobby etc.

For the spirit: it is about awakening to your true self and reconnecting with your soul’s purpose. It’s a journey of finding deeper meaning, practicing gratitude and embracing a sense of interconnectedness with the universe. It calls for a shift from spiritual stagnation to a life infused with purpose and spiritual alignment

For the emotions: it means letting go of suppressed feelings, emotional wounds and the armor you have built to protect yourself from being vulnerable. It’s the process of feeling your emotions fully, healing past trauma and learning to develop emotional authenticity. By doing so, you cultivate emotional resilience and the ability to connect more deeply with yourself and others. It’s about transforming fear, shame and guilt into acceptance, joy and self-love. It is to be creating a life where your emotions are honored rather than ignored.

What does it mean to unbecome what you have become over the years
Unbecoming™ means to consciously undo the false narratives you’ve adopted through societal, familial, or cultural conditioning. Over the years, you acquire expectations, roles and labels that you believe you must fulfil, often leading you to disconnect from your true self.

It involves peeling back these layers, releasing what no longer serves you and rediscovering your authentic essence.

It’s a courageous act of returning to your core values, discovering who you are beyond external expectations and embracing a life that genuinely reflects your innermost desires and dreams.
